Alex got a job. Hurrah. Financial analysis assistant or something along those lines, starts Monday.
Still have to somehow come up with crazy sums of money for rent and car insurance, but at least there's promise that next month he won't be in the panic he's in right now.

That's brilliant news Lindsay! You must be both so relieved! I wish I could say that finances get easier as you get older but they don't! I'm still paying of my first university loans and I'm 35.
ReplyDeleteI was unemployed for three months in 2007 and it was terrifying. I am breathing a sigh of relief for you. And yes, the promise of relief in the works is worth celebrating.
